I have found this Blessing in the book “Desert Wisdom” by Neil Douglas-Klotz which is one of my favorites. It is a translation of a Blessing from the Qumran (Dead Sea) Community, about 100 B.C.E. – 100 C.E. May the Being of the Universe breath into you the Light of Blessing and Ripeness, the Fulfillment of Health and Balance … May [...] This nice little story seems to be so typical in our daily life… As children bring their broken toys An amazing thing happens when we manage to not think about the past, neither the future. We sink into the NOW. And you know what? At such moments it is simply impossible to be afraid or feel depressed. The NOW is a permanent climate of safety, harmony and peace.
